Day Two

Snow Birds

We stopped feeding the birds a long time ago when it was clear we were only luring them into our yard for the cat to kill. But Neil recently bought a big bag of Sunflower seed and a new bird feeder and decided to start feeding them again this Winter. No casualties, so far. And it's been fun watching them on the feeder. Fun taking pictures of them, too.

More great pictures! The bird flying in from the right looks like he's got a curled tail.

I had the camera set on AV and the F setting on 4.5 or 5.0 -- there's a scroll 'button' or whatever on top of the camera to change these settings. I used my 250mm lens to get the bird pics -- it zooms in really close. Ann, you'll have to ask for a 250mm zoom lens for your birthday!! Put the bug in Terry's ear now :D
