Day One Hundred Thirty Five 2011

Son in law Kerry gave me some starter for Amish Cinnamon Bread. After mushing the bag every day and adding more milk, sugar, and flour and mushing it some more and watching it bubble for the past ten days, it was finally ready to add all the other ingredients and bake two big loaves of heaven. Neil and I enjoyed huge slices of this bread hot from the oven. It turned out great! Now I have four bags of starter to share. I'll keep one for myself and save one for Kerry. Neil plans on giving one to a guy at work who likes to cook. And I'm going to give one to a sweet neighbor lady who gave me homemade pumpkin bread last fall. (Thanks again, Kerry!)

Me and Terry enjoyed a big hunk with a cold glass of milk. Delish recipe! Thanks Kerry :0)

Yeah! Glad everyone is enjoying! Kerry would LOVE to have a bag. He's going through withdrawals this week :o) Mush some for him!

We ended up making ours really late last night, so we had a slice and went to bed :) It was SO good hot!

I shared it with friends at work, and they loved it! Gave all the starter away (except the one I kept for myself)! :)
