This is my favorite time of year, and it seems to be happening without me. Or maybe I haven’t been paying attention lately. Neil and I were out on the deck eating some lunch, and I looked up at the beautiful blue sky and was surprised to find that the leaves at the top of our Red Maple are turning….wait for it….red! Guess I’d better get my Autumn mojo on and start paying attention, or I’m going to miss it.

Pretty! I hope our maples will be pretty this year. Our Tulip poplar leaves are yellow. We need a good frost to really get things going.
Too much time at the beach - doesn't seem like Fall when you're there. :) October is almost half over already! Those leaves better pick up the pace.
