"All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt."— Susan Sontag

Day Two Hundred Nineteen
In The Mood For Sepia
The yellow striped kitten named Eddie. He's too quick for my camera shutter. He's also a sweet cat who likes to get in your face. No new sidewalk today. Maybe Monday....
They weren't here today, so my day was pretty quiet and no where near as much fun.
I love the sepia pictures! Also love your grandchildren crossing stepping stone :-) I can't wait to meet Eddie! He looks like such a sweet cat. He sounds alot like our cat Libby. She likes to get in your face too.
Thanks! It's fun to experiment with color settings on the camera. Eddie is a good cat. He and Buddy are starting to accept each other and get along a little better.....slowly.
Sorry you didn't get to post, Jane. I always have a terrible time posting to anybody's blog! It's so frustrating! Just makes ya wanna say To heck with it! But thanks to one and all for commenting. I know how hard it can be sometimes so I appreciate each and every one!

ReplyDeleteNice pictures! For some reason, I was not allowed to comment on the pics of Elijah getting his hair cut. I posted one, and it just wouldn't show up!
ReplyDeleteEddie looks curious as usual! I bet his grown. I like the sepia too. :o)
