"All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt."— Susan Sontag

Day Seventy Four
Remembering Peggy Peggy Gailbreath Sircy July 29, 1949 ~ March 15, 2010
You always brought us all together, and we had the best time. We'll miss your sense of family. We'll miss your spirit of fun. Thanks for all your funny stories that made us laugh 'til we cried. It breaks our hearts to see you go too soon. We love you and we'll miss you.
What a wonderful tribute! Rest in peace, Peggy. You will be greatly missed!
ReplyDeleteNice tribute. Makes me sad looking at those pictures. I was looking at the Christmas one. 9 of the 19 people in the picture are gone. :-(
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget her story telling. She loved making people laugh! I'll miss her.
