"All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt."— Susan Sontag

Day Sixty Two 2011
"And then my heart with pleasure fills, and dances with the daffodils."
Thanks!! Next time you're in the market for another lens check out this one: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens. You can find it on Amazon and probably any other camera store. It is relatively inexpensive. I just started using it. Great for close up stuff.
Love the daffodils! Sarah picked a boat load of them today and put them in vases in the kitchen and den. I was afraid the rains would beat them down if we didn't pick them soon.
Beautiful shot, sis! I love how the tips of the foliage are in focus. Also love the angle of the picture! Green and yellow are so pretty together :0)
