"All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt."— Susan Sontag

Day Two Hundred Five 2011
Saw this wild looking cloud formation when we left the church building this evening and had to take its picture. Another miserably hot day in my town. I think it's hotter here than in Destin, Florida. I miss those cool Gulf breezes. {{sigh}}
That's funny because we were all staring at that when we left, too :) Glad you got a picture of it :)
ReplyDeleteCool shot! I love the white cloud with the dark cloud in front of it. Thought we might get some rain this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteWacky cloud!!! Looks like a sea monster :o)
ReplyDeleteYeah, we were looking at this cloud as we left church, as Julia said. I thought it was very cool, especially with that dark cloud in it!
