"All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt."— Susan Sontag

Day Thirty Eight 2013
“Consider the daffodil. And while you’re doing that, I’ll be over here, looking through your stuff.” ~Jack Handy
First two pics are macro daffodil { buttercup, jonquil}. The one in the last pic I found on the deck post. Someone (I’m guessing a grandchild) had picked it and then forgot it.
I love these macro shots! My favorite kind of photography. I can smell that buttercup from here :0)
ReplyDeleteWhen I first looked at the top pic, I thought it was a bunch of baby chicks! :) Jack Handy quote - love it!
ReplyDeleteAh, Jack Handy.
ReplyDeleteLiking the butter shots :)
