Day Eighty Eight

All of a sudden the Forsythia bloomed. Like overnight. It wasn't there and then it was. I see it everywhere now. The bright yellow blooms were a welcome sight on this cold gray day.

Day Eighty Three

Some Blooms From The Past

I didn't take any pictures today. I'll share one from this date back in 2007. Must have been an early Spring back then. The Redbuds and Dogwoods haven't even begun to bloom yet as of today. It's been a rough Winter. Looking forward to some more Spring color!

Day Eighty

Yesterday

Spring arrived yesterday with blue sky and sunshine and 70 degree temperatures, and then it mysteriously disappeared today under wet gray skies and temperatures in the 50's. Pretty typical Spring weather in my neck of the woods. Since the weather has temporarily reverted to Winter today, I thought I'd share some color with you from the first day of Spring. Enjoy!

Day Seventy

Almost Spring

Grape Hyacinths are sprouting all over the front yard at my house. They are a definite harbinger of Spring, along with the Daffodils, Crocus, and Easter grass. Can't wait for the world to turn green again!
