Day One Hundred Twenty Three

The only word to describe this day is 'wet'! Everyone is already tired of the rain. I hope this summer we're not all saying, 'wish it would rain!'

Day One Hundred Twenty Two

Today is (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day, which is observed and celebrated the first Saturday in May each year. So I did my part by starting and actually finishing two pages for my Project 365 scrapbook. I also made a May Mother's Day themed desktop calendar and e-mailed it to my two sisters. I use Photoshop Elements 5.0. Learned a whole lot in the two years I've been using it, but I still don't know all the tricks and probably never will. Hope all the scrappers out there (paper, digital, or both) got a page or two done today.

Day One Hundred Twenty One

I think this might be the Tennessee state bird. This big ole skeeter was perched on the picture window at Ocha Deli (our favorite Thai food restaurant--I'm sure I've mentioned that) this evening at supper time. Luckily, he was on the outside looking in. I don't think he's the blood sucking kind. As you can see, the streets around TTU are soaked from all the rain we've had today and tonight. And of course with the rain comes the skeeters! Bonn Appetite! (P.S. My sister Ann tells me this is a May Fly and not a mosquito.)

Day One Hundred Twenty

Drive-by shooting: I drove by the courthouse and shot a picture. The flags on the north side of the courthouse were whipping in the gusty wind around lunch time today.

Day One Hundred Nineteen

My sister Jane and me at cardio-sculpt class back in March, but it represents a typical Wednesday afternoon for us between 4:15 and 5:15. (Didn't have a fresh pic. Sorry.) Our instructor wore us out today. We lived to tell the tale! Go, us!
