Day Two Hundred Ninety Two 2010

They All Fall Down

Taking pics of fallen leaves with my cell phone camera (Solaris color setting) helped pass the time while I waited for Shelby after school this afternoon. A few of our neighbors have already raked their fallen leaves into big piles by the roadside.

Day Two Hundred Ninety One 2010

It's What's For Supper

Neil and I enjoyed homemade chili in the hand made bowls we bought at Fall Homecoming at the Museum of Appalachia. The bowl made the chili taste better, of course. I'm just saying.

Day Two Hundred Eighty Eight 2010

Can You Hear Me Now?

Hubby Neil and I took advantage of early voting today in this mid-term election. Some of the items on our ballot are state reps, a new governor, the right to hunt and fish (in Tennessee, are you kidding me?!) and whether or not to allow liquor to be sold in package stores here in our hilly little town. It's all important and it begs a response from everyone old enough to vote. Mine is only one voice, but I'm not the only one pushing that red button. Happy TGIF, everyone!
