Grand daughter Shelby made the best out of having to do math homework by doing it outside on this most beautiful day of days--a welcome sunny, blue sky respite from what sometimes feels like endless rain here lately. Shelby is in second grade and has math homework every day, except Fridays. After homework, Neil and I took turns pitching the ball, as Shelby and Elijah took turns at bat. Good times!

And I'm sure Neil helps when Shelby has trouble with math! :-) Of course, even I can do 2nd grade math!
