Neil broke this "Winter sandwich" off the car this afternoon--a solid layer of ice in between two layers of snow. This stuff is making for treacherous road conditions in our hilly little town. The temperature got near forty degrees and the snow and ice started to melt some. We did venture out and about this afternoon before the next hard freeze sets in tonight. No school Monday!

I took a picture just like this of Terry today :) Cool shot! "Winter sandwich" is a perfect term for it. We've really enjoyed this snow!
I guess all the cars had "Winter sandwiches" on them! We cleaned off Don's car yesterday and got lots of them off! Our road is still packed with ice & snow!
I also took a picture of Kerry tossing a Winter sandwich from the back of the car. I got what I wished for, to be snowed in. I haven't left the house since Friday at noon. I'm going a little stir crazy. Kerry has been at work or asleep, so it's just me, the TV, the fridge and Facebook. My eyes are going to pop our of my head before it's all over with! Loved the snow!!!! So pretty!!! I"ll miss it when (or if) it melts!
