Morning Glories are a sure sign of Fall and are most definitely a cool weather bloom. I had never noticed the star shape the petals make until now. These seem to glow in the center, as though they contain their own inner light. I can imagine you could hear a tiny chorus of angels singing if you put your ear close enough. Maybe that’s why they’re called Morning Glories.

Day Two Hundred Fifty Nine 2011
Morning Glories are a sure sign of Fall and are most definitely a cool weather bloom. I had never noticed the star shape the petals make until now. They are such beautiful flowers. I took a picture of one on my cell phone and it looks like it's glowing in the middle. I've never thought of why they are called Morning Glories - I love your thoughts on that! :)
