"All photographs are memento mori. To take a photograph is to participate in another person’s (or thing’s) mortality, vulnerability, mutability. Precisely by slicing out this moment and freezing it, all photographs testify to time’s relentless melt."— Susan Sontag

Great Fall shots! I love the Indian corn. Speaking of corn, the candy corn is out. I thought of you when I saw it at Wal-Mart :0)
Ann brings up a good point... where is the gratuitous shot of candy corn!!! Tee hee! I take this season for granted. It's truly lovely. Cool breeze, blue sky, colorful leaves, pumpkins everywhere :o)
I haven't bought any candy corn yet. Been baking and eating too many cookies lately!! There's still time for candy corn, though. Stay tuned.
Ah, the beauty of the season! We could really tell it's Fall after being in Florida all week, and driving back to Tennessee & seeing the leaves turning pretty colors! I got my annual bag of candy corn from Don's dad! :)
That's sweet of your father-in-law to remember you that way, Jane :) I thought about that while you all were in Florida. Yep, Florida and Tennessee are two different worlds. It's nice to cross over every now and then, though, isn't it?
