This looks like an insect wing, doesn't it? It's a macro shot of a tree seed (one of what seems like millions covering everything on and around our house right now). I refer to them as those 'whirly things'. They look like helicopters spinning in the wind. If they all took root, we'd have ourselves a nice little forest in about twenty years.

That is so cool! I thought it was an insect wing when I first saw the picture! Love it!
I wasn't sure what it was! It's a helicopter! :) I still love to pick them up and throw them in the air to watch them whirl down.
