Day Forty One 2011

I'm not sure what kind of bird this is, but he has pretty wings. All the birds go nuts over the peanut butter. This feeder was empty before the morning was done. The sun melted what little snow we got last night even though the temps are still in the freezer.

Day Thirteen 2011

This bird is coming in for a landing on the log feeder we keep filled with peanut butter in the winter. Comfort food on a cold winter day when the clouds finally parted and the sun came shining through long enough to remind us that there will be warmer days ahead.
