Day Two Hundred Ninety 2012

The rose bushes around the gazebo in Dogwood Park are still in beautiful bloom in the middle of October. I hope you got to be outside to soak up some of this perfect Autumn day.

Day Two Hundred Thirty Six 2012

A little eye candy to brighten my walk this morning. Been up and down this road lots of times but never noticed this wild rose bush growing along the side. My old cell phone camera isn’t the greatest for up close and personal shots.  That’s what I call a violent shade of pink. I wonder how I missed it before today.

Grand daughter Shelby decked out in her 1980’s (the ‘Me Generation’) outfit today for decade week at her school. She was totally neon with a side pony tail, fingerless lace glove, and her mom’s vintage 80’s charms necklace. Awesome to the max, dudette!
Happy TGIF, everyone!

Day Sixty Six

Lila Ruth's Roses

These are some of the most beautiful roses I've ever seen. We brought them home with us from my mother-in-law's funeral. I wish you could smell them--especially the pink ones....God's perfume. Neil's dad grew roses in their back yard, so I think she would have liked these.
