Day Two Hundred Twenty Two 2010
2ZdAy
Today was grandson Elijah's first day back in class at Mother's Day Out. He comes to my house to hang out for a while in the afternoon. Snapped his picture as he came up the walk.
He was peeking inside ...
... and saw me taking pictures, so he struck a pose. I think he had a good day. Hard to say because he didn't have much to say about MDO, except that he played outside on the playground and he played inside and took a nap. Sounds like a good day to me.
My sister Ann brought produce from her garden today--tomatoes and okra. Pretty and probably delicious. Thanks, sis!

Day Two Hundred Twenty 2010
Unreal
"I'm not a real Sunflower. I just play one in a wreath." My sister grows beautiful real ones in her yard. I do enjoy my fake ones in this wreath on my back door. Not quite the same but nice for picture taking in the Solaris color setting on my cell phone camera. With a little red, white and blue thrown in for good measure. Not too shabby. Wishing everyone a wonderful week!

Day Two Hundred Nineteen 2010
Pathwork
Hubby Neil started in again on the latest stone pathway. This one leads from the kitchen door to his RC airplane hangar/workshop/shed. It's been in the making for many moons now and much needed, because he's always trekking back and forth, tracking stuff into the kitchen and beyond. This one shouldn't take much longer. The unfinished one on the north side of the house--well, that's another story and another picture for another day.
