Day One Hundred Sixty One 2011

Grandpeeps Shelby and Elijah are happy that their Granny and Grandpa finally joined the 21st century and bought a Wii. I must admit, it is very cool and lots of fun. Today they brought their Scooby Doo and The Spooky Swamp game and spent a good deal of the afternoon helping the gang battle weird and lethal zombies. In that screen shot, there is this huge zombie leading a musical band of zombies while he plays the harmonica and terrorizes Daphne and Fred. The gang and the grandpeeps were victorious in the end and advanced to the next mysterious adventure. As for myself, all I know how to do on the Wii so far is bowl. But I'm willing to learn, so who knows. Happy TGIF, everyone!

My Kindle DX is all decked out in a new skin (or cover) thanks to son in law Kerry who has much patience and a steady hand. I've had the skin for months but was too chicken to apply it myself. Kerry's an expert at this stuff and didn't seem to think it was any big deal, but to me it's like wow! How cool is that?! Now my Kindle is all ready for the beach. So thanks again, Kerry! Daughter Kelly and son in law Kerry are visiting for a day or two and took grandpeeps Shelby and Elijah to Echo Valley Pool this afternoon for some cool fun in the hot sun. They had a blast and came home tired and hungry and happy.
