Day One Hundred Eighty Three 2011

Hubby Neil left his cap on one of the watermelons we bought today for our 4th of July get together. I just happened to notice it in passing. Neil tends to leave things like hats, glasses, keys, etc. in odd places (usually where he can't find them) so I don't think he intended this to be cute or funny. But since it is kinda cute and kinda funny, I had to take a picture and share it with you.

Day One Hundred Eighty Two 2011

Bumble bee found a nice hiding place in this pink dahlia. I think he must have been asleep because he didn't mind my taking his picture.

Day One Hundred Eighty One 2011

Mom/Granny/Great-Granny's Lunch Bunch today at Mom's place. From left around the table: sister Ann, niece Julia, grandson Elijah, niece Sarah, brother Ken, MOM, sister Jane, great-niece Ashley, nephew Chris, and great-nephew Ethan. The greatest family on the planet and always good for a laugh or two. Until next time...love you all!

Day One Hundred Eighty 2011

"I am...a mushroom; On whom the dew of heaven drops now and then." ~John Ford
Found this one hiding under a hosta in the front yard this morning. Someone once said, "All mushrooms are edible...once." Mushroom pizza sounds good right now.

Day One Hundred Seventy Nine 2011

Grand daughter Shelby, always the artist, drew a face in her McDonald's ice cream cone at lunch today. We all agreed that it looked like the Disney fish, Nemo (of Finding Nemo fame). Cute face. Both of them.
