Day One Hundred Seventy Five 2012
Peeps grand daughter Shelby, daughter Holly, grandson Elijah, hubby Neil, grandson Knox, daughter Kelly and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at a new ‘meat and three’ restaurant called Family Traditions Cafe (a former D.Q. here in town~luckily we still have one other D.Q.). We all went in a little skeptical, but the food lived up to the ‘home cooking’ advertisement. And the prices were very reasonable. We cleaned our plates. (The fried corn was especially amazing) I highly recommend it.

Will have to give that place a try. Still looks like the DQ, though! :)
They haven't made any changes as far as decor. The Bean family was in there when we were and I talked to Mr. Bean and asked him if it was his place--he said yes, indirectly. I didn't ask what he meant by that, just told him we enjoyed it and planned to come again. I hope that first meal wasn't just a fluke! :)
Me and T love meat and threes. We'll have to give it a try. Hope it's consistently good. Cookeville needs more restaurants like that!
