Day Fifty Seven 2013
Here’s a fun fact for you: Levi Strauss, a Bavarian immigrant who went to San Francisco during the Gold Rush, made his first pair of ‘jeans’ out of canvas. He was a tailor and an inventor. After I read this, I noticed that grandson Elijah, grand daughter Shelby and I were all wearing jeans today (even though none are Levis). So here’s to Levi Strauss (1829-1902), who’s birthday happens to be today. Without him, most of us would be running around naked on any given day of the week. I know I would.

Cute pic! SO grateful for Mr. Strauss! I would be "nekkid" for sure! :)
Happy Birthday Mr. Levi Strauss and thanks for all those great jeans! Cute picture :0)
What would we be wearing if we didn't have the jean? Boggles the mind! Love the feet shot :)
