Day One Hundred Fifty Eight 2013
It’s National Doughnut Day! Neil and I honored this special day by eating doughnuts. Not only that, but it’s also Friday! Life is good. Happy TGIF, y’all! Have yourself a delicious doughnut.

Day One Hundred Fifty Four 2011
It's National Doughnut Day, which is supposedly a real holiday created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served doughnuts to soldiers in World War I. It is celebrated on the first Friday in June. Doughnut shops around the country are giving away a free doughnut today. Hubby Neil and I will always take advantage of any excuse to head over to Ralph's Doughnut Shop and pick up one or two or three. (No freebies here) My fave is the cake doughnut with vanilla icing and sprinkles. I can't think of a better way to have a happy TGIF. Sweet!
