The Track

See how she runs! Shelby gives it all she's got!

Shelby takes a break and shows off her Capshaw Cougar pride!

We are Capshaw Kids! Holly sports her vintage Capshaw Cougar T-shirt. Shelby is third generation Capshaw Kid!

17 laps! Her usual is 13 each year. Way to go, Shelby! You and all your fellow Cougars did a great job this year raising money for your school! They were rewarded for their hard work with a picnic on the playground and a day to kick back and play.
I'm so thankful to get to live in America and be free.

Day Two Hundred Fifty One

Caught In A Web

This long dead leaf looks like it's floating in mid air over a flower pot that's been sitting empty in the back yard all Summer. It's just suspended in an abandoned spider's web, probably until next Spring when I just might clean out the pot and plant something pretty.

Day Two Hundred Fifty

Remains Of The Day

The sunset turned our storm clouds into an awesome display this evening. After a mostly rainy Labor Day in my neighborhood, it was nice to see some blue sky.

I took these pictures with my cell phone in a moving car. I'm lucky they weren't blurred. I never seem to have my camera when I need it.
