Day Two Hundred Fifty Seven

Eddie Kitty had his "manhood removal" surgery today. He is still zonked out. We've got him swaddled in a towel on the couch (on top of a piece of plastic) where we can keep a close eye on him. His white cell count was elevated, so we've got an anti biotic to give him when he's able to eat and drink again. We have to keep him indoors for several days until he's ready to rock and roll. I check him every few minutes just to make sure he's still breathing. Maybe he'll be back to his old self in a couple of days. I'll keep you posted.

Day Two Hundred Fifty Six

Keep Eddie Kitty In Your Prayers

Eddie's whole world will be turned upside down Monday morning when he goes under the knife for a bit of surgery. Poor baby! Being stripped of your manhood is no way to start the week! Say a little prayer for him.

Day Two Hundred Fifty Five

You Lookin At Me?

Elijah thoroughly enjoyed his DQ ice cream cone with sprinkles Friday at lunch. He can tell you that Granny's camera is pretty much always lookin at him. I'm almost sure that's why he had this expression on his face.

17 laps! Her usual is 13 each year. Way to go, Shelby! You and all your fellow Cougars did a great job this year raising money for your school! They were rewarded for their hard work with a picnic on the playground and a day to kick back and play.
I'm so thankful to get to live in America and be free.
