Day Three Hundred Forty Two 2011
"That's no December sky!
Surely 'tis June
Holds now her state on high
Queen of the noon.
Only the tree-tops bare
Crowning the hill,
Clear-cut in perfect air,
Warn us that still
Winter, the aged chief,
Mighty in power,
Exiles the tender leaf,
Exiles the flower."
- Robert Fuller Murray (1863-1894), A December Day

Wow!! Great picture for the poem! I love how the clouds look in this picture! :0)
Thanks! I'm going to cause a wreck one of these days taking pictures with my cell phone while I drive--as bad as texting and shame on me. The clouds were particularly awesome today. I can't resist taking pictures of them.
Love this!! Makes me think of a Van Gogh painting. Pretty awesome!
Stop and pull over next time! :o)
Beautiful shot! Love the colors in the clouds!
