Day One Hundred Fifty 2013

Back To Normal…………
0530031805
Life can be pretty amazing. I mean, this morning, Neil and I were in Las Vegas, Nevada, saying so long to that crazy but fun alien planet, and this afternoon, we were back in our home town, sitting on the bleachers at the ball park with daughters Holly and Kelly and granddaughter Shelby and grandson Knox, watching grandson Elijah play his last T Ball game of the season. We are blessed. Life is good. Life is back to normal.

Day Two Hundred Sixty Four 2012

They give you a round bat and they throw you a round ball and they tell you to hit it square.

Neil and I enjoyed watching grandson Elijah play T Ball this evening. He hits the ball hard, and he does a great job fielding. For one round of batting, the coach pitched the ball to him, instead of him hitting it off the T. He smacked it pretty far. One game left and then the tournament.

Day Two Hundred Fifty Seven 2010

Shelby's First Fast Pitch Softball Game

Granddaughter Shelby played her first fast pitch softball game this afternoon. The last time she played ball was when she was 5 years old and played T Ball.

She got to do some fielding by first base.

Shelby at bat.

Ready to run.

Rooting for her team.

Shelby's team won the game 10-2. She played well and said she had a good time. They play through October, so there are lots of games ahead. You did good, Shelby! I'm looking forward to Game 2!

Day Two Hundred Fifty 2010

Eye On The Ball

Grandson Elijah keeps his eyes on the ball as he swings that bat and makes a hit playing T Ball this afternoon. All the players love to bat, but when it comes to fielding, they don't have a clue, which makes it so much fun to watch. Only three more games to go.

Day Two Hundred Forty Three 2010

Grandson Elijah played his second T Ball game this afternoon. I'm doing something totally different today. Instead of pictures (see yesterday's post) I thought I'd post two videos of Elijah's game. One is him at bat and running the bases. The other is him fielding the ball and getting the out. I hope this works and you can see the videos. He only has four more games to play. This is just a sample of T Ball for three and four year olds.
