Day One Hundred Thirty Three 2012

IMG_3959
Visiting daughter Kelly and grandson Knox today for Kelly’s very first Mother’s Day. She’s a great mommy, who—along with husband Kerry—is rearing a—how shall we say—‘quirky’ son. He’s always in motion when he’s awake and unpredictable from day to day. Keeps his parents on their toes. Never a dull moment.  Knox is totally precious. I could squeeze the stuffing out of him.  Happy Mother’s Day, Kelly!! I love you so much and am so blessed to have you in my life!! Never doubt that you are a wonderful mom. Knox is blessed to have such a loving and caring mother.

Day One Hundred Thirty Two 2012

I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes. ~e.e. cummings

Day One Hundred Thirty One 2012

RANDOM

The birds have discovered the mulberries, which make for a very colorful mess (literally) on the windshield of my car.

The baby birds have flown the nest and are everywhere. They, too, know a good mulberry when they see one.

What an awesome day! Felt a bit like fall which is always OK with me.

And last but never least, Grandson Elijah played T Ball this evening. His team, the Diamondbacks, got beat by the Reds 17~11. They played well, though, and Elijah did some great fielding. They turned an eleven point lead into a six point lead. Not too shabby.

Day One Hundred Twenty Nine 2012

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31"So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
~Matthew 6: 25~34
