Awesome sunset over the Wal-Mart parking lot this evening. There was no escaping the light poles, unfortunately. Don’t they look like those long-necked, bug-eyed aliens in ‘War Of The Worlds’? Hope your Monday had a silver lining.

Splish Splash! Grandson Knox enjoyed some pool time this afternoon in the hundred degree heat. He had the best time kicking and splashing and trying to slide over the side of the pool. Too bad there wasn’t room for the rest of us.
Happy TGIF, everyone!

My Mae Pearl’s vanilla bean frozen yogurt would have been patriotic if only I had chosen blueberries instead of blackberries. In the end, the flavors are what mattered. It was totally delicious and refreshing on a hot summer day.
