Flea Market
Here’s one for Mom and Jane.
Can’t escape politics. Even at the flea market.
Neil bought this thing. It is creepy. I don’t know what he plans to do with it.
Santas were all over the place today.
This was probably the strangest thing I saw all day. He must be so embarrassed.

She’s 2 kewl 4 skewl.
This looked like a cross between ‘Jaws’ and the spider in Stephen King’s ‘It’. It was made out of dried gourds.
Just so you know…..
Now!
I imagine this hanging in some church on the Gulf Coast.
After the flea market, we dropped in to visit grandson Knox and daughter Kelly.
If you received a call from Neil’s cell phone this afternoon, this is why.
Knox got a kick out of listening to Grandpa’s cell phone ring tones which kept him distracted while his mom shoveled food into his mouth. We enjoyed our visit as always. Good time Friday.
Happy TGIF!

Day Two Hundred Ninety Eight 2012
Grandpeeps Elijah and Shelby hanging out with the scarecrow that Shelby named Jeff. Jeff has been around every Autumn since Shelby was four years old, and each year we take a picture. The tradition continues this year as well. Jeff never grows up, however, these two are, all too quickly.

Day Two Hundred Ninety Seven 2012
Neil and I voted today, waiting in a long line with other early voters, but the process went quickly—pray, sign in, press the button, then pray some more. Two weeks……
The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter.
