Day Three Hundred Ten 2010

Fish Eye

I ordered some lenses for my cell phone camera. I know that sounds crazy. I certainly never had heard of such a thing, but Photojojo--a web site that is all things photography--has them. I got a fish eye, macro, and wide angle lens.

These tiny lenses stick over the regular lens of a cell phone camera.

I took this pic of my rings with the macro lens. Not too shabby for a little cell phone camera. The link for Photojojo is http://www.photojojo.com/ if you're into unusual camera accessories and photography tips. Fun stuff.

Day Three Hundred Nine 2010

"Yellows and grays paint a sad sky today...."
'Old Tennessee' ~ Dan Fogelberg

In spite of the "sad sky today" in my back yard, it is still TGIF! Hope yours rocks and rolls no matter what your sky looks like.

Day Three Hundred Eight 2010

Elijah Bear

This is so cute I can "bearly" stand it. Today was 'Bear Day' at grandson Elijah's school. I couldn't resist taking his picture in his bear mask. That's a face even Goldilocks could love.

Day Three Hundred Seven 2010

Wet Wednesday

There was no sun for my sun catcher wind chimes to catch today. (I took this picture through the glass window on my front door and got a double exposure effect.)

Raindrops decorate the berries on the hawthorn tree.
The colors on the leaves really stand out when they're wet. A soggy chilly day all around, with a blast of cold air on its way by tomorrow. Happy Middle Of The Week, Everyone!

Day Three Hundred Six 2010

"How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.

At other times, they wildly fly

Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow."
~~ Elsie N. Brady~~"Leaves"
