Niece Julia, grand daughter Shelby and grandson Elijah spent  some time outside after school this afternoon batting the ball and throwing the Frisbee to each other (well, mostly into the bushes). Hard to resist the call of a perfect October day when the sky is my favorite shade of blue, the sun is out and the breeze is cool, and the Red Maple in the back yard looks like its on fire. Why does this month have to be the one that flies by quicker than all the rest?

It was a nice day to get out and play! Your leaves are gorgeous! I wish ours were that pretty.

I'm never home long enough to enjoy these pretty days! And next Tuesday, it'll be November! :( I'm glad the kids had some 'fresh air' time today.
