Day Two Hundred Thirty One 2013
Enjoying a Thai food lunch at Ocha ~ hubby Neil, niece Sarah, daughter Holly, grandson Knox, and daughter Kelly
Knox hijacked Granny’s strawberries and cream drink at Starbucks. He likes the whipped cream.
We had fun hanging out with Sarah at Starbucks this afternoon. She’s loving some freedom after high school and before her college classes begin next week.
The kids love playing on the trampoline ~ even daughter Holly, who might be the biggest kid of all.
Knox thought this was the best fun ever.
Beautiful afternoon
Happy face
Monkeys on a trampoline, having fun and being eaten alive by skeeters
Granddaughter Shelby making bubbles which makes a Monday even more fun ~ hope yours was, too.

Day One Hundred Ninety Six 2013
Monday Monday Afternoon With Knox
It was a beautiful afternoon. Grandson Knox braved the mosquitoes and spent some time jumping on the trampoline, blowing a few bubbles, and fishing in the watering can to see what he could catch [a very soggy leaf] ~ all of it fun. Except for the ‘skeeter bites. [Hope your Monday did not bite]

Day Seventy One 2013
Sunny day
Chasing the clouds away
On my way
To where the air is sweet …
Grandpeeps Shelby and Elijah are on the second week of their spring break. We spent the day together, attached to our iPad minis and computer, until we realized we were missing out on a perfectly gorgeous day outside.
Sunny blue sky day with a cool wind ~ who could resist the tree swing?
We enjoyed some low tech fun blowing bubbles.
And letting the wind do the work sometimes
Hard to catch, bubbles are
Couldn’t let the sunny day go by without making a gratuitous shadow picture
Then we trekked into the woods, looking for a swinging vine to no avail. Elijah contemplated this question mark shaped stick and thought it was interesting enough to take home with him.
Shelby had a great time hanging long limbs between tree trunks. It’s the little things, you see. We don’t need no stinkin iPads to have fun!
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood which I enjoyed spending with my grandpeeps, especially once we escaped the house and went outside. I took pictures of bare trees and blue sky which always makes me happy and even found a cool walking stick [Shelby called it a ‘Gandalf stick’] [and if you don’t know who Gandalf is, Google it]. Can you tell me how to get … how to get to… ? You know the rest, don’t you? [if you don’t, Google it]

Day Two Hundred Sixty Seven 2011
EVER LOVIN’ SATURDAY!
What a great Saturday afternoon hanging with my peeps! We enjoyed a big fat mushroom/sausage pizza at Momma Rosa’s. After that, a little pumpkin shopping at Malco Produce Co. on Willow Avenue. I was in pumpkin heaven! They have an awesome selection of everything Autumn. Then off to Mae Pearl’s for some frozen yogurt. Yum! And back to the house to play some backyard baseball and Frisbee and blow some big bubbles which are so much fun to chase and pop. For me, it’s one of those afternoons that you wish would never end, but it’s the kind that always flies by way too fast.
