Day One Hundred Forty 2012

Hubby Neil and I are celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary today. We must be having fun, because the time has certainly flown by in our marriage. We don't give each other anniversary gifts except cards, but today he gave me these beautiful white roses. Happy Anniversary to us! 

Day Twenty Seven 2012

Happy Anniversary, daughter Holly and son in law Jerry Myers who were married 11 years ago, January 27, 2001. Your Ma and Pa wish you all the best of everything on your special day. You (and those two grand peeps) are a blessing to us. We love you!

Day One Hundred Thirty Nine 2011

Hubby Neil and I are 38 years old today. So to speak. We were wed on this date in 1973. We have no idea how so much time slipped by us and at the same time carried us along with its passing. He surprised me with this beautiful bouquet this afternoon. We made a pact many years ago--no gifts, but cards are welcome. We leave cards for each other all over the house on this day each year. He broke the rule, but that's OK. He does have romantic bones in his body. So here we are, still here, happily putting up with each other. I think they call that love.

Day One Hundred Thirty Six 2011

Grandson Elijah graduated from his Mother's Day Out pre-school this evening. The director, Donna Johnson, and all the teachers did an awesome job of putting together this memorable and oh so sweet event. Elijah is so proud of his diploma, and we are so very proud of him. He'll be off to kindergarten in late summer this year. We love you, Elijah! Congratulations!
